CAD Railway Industries, a company specializing in the repair and refurbishment of railway equipment, commissioned Lx Sim for a modernization project involving 10 locomotives for New York City Transit. The objective was to find effective cooling solutions for various locomotive chambers, while accounting for extreme thermal constraints.

Letenda, an innovative company specializing in electric buses, commissioned Lx Sim to simulate side impacts on their new aluminum structure. The goal was to validate the structural resistance according to public transit certification standards (TC, APTA), while accounting for unique design constraints and a modular layout that can accommodate various configurations based on client needs (number of seats, seating arrangement, etc.).

Optimization of Embedded Stabilizers

Chantier Naval Forillon, in collaboration with the firm Navanex, commissioned Lx Sim to analyze the behavior of a fishing vessel hull equipped with embedded stabilizers. The goal was to use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation to optimize the placement of the stabilizers in order to reduce drag and lower fuel consumption.
